Event Contact: Tony Trimp NHRA's Quick Reference Rules Link. Event Information for Drag Racers and their Crew members entering the Pit Admission gateTURBO RACING GATES OPEN: 9:00 AM. If you arrive earlier than 9:00 AM please park in the front lot at entry gate. ADMISSION: $15 per person, children under the age of 11 enter free of charge. Racing admission is $45 for both the car and the driver to race. Each additional person in the car entering the gate will be charged $15. PARKING: Front lot parking is free. This event also allows spectators to park in the pit area with the racers for an extra $10 charge. Spectators or racers are not allowed to leave the front parking lot in haste as to raise dust or throw rocks onto other cars. SEATING: Grandstand seating is provided. Bring Seat Cushion and umbrella. IN AND OUT PRIVLIDGES: Once you leave the facility for any reason you must be wearing an event wristband to re enter. INSIDE FOOD & BEVERAGE: Sacramento Raceway contracts with a restaurant certified vendor to sell food and drinks. OUTSIDE FOOD & BEVERAGE: Allowed. Including Gas BBQ’s. Absolutely no briquette BBQ’s are allowed. No exceptions. OVERNITE CAMPING: no overnite camping is permitted in the pit area. You may camp in the front lot prior or post event. NOT PERMITTED: Alcoholic beverages, Weapons, Drugs, marijuana, glass bottles or pets. Please leave your animals at home. The racetrack can make dogs very nervous, causing even the most gentle dog to bite. SMOKING: Absolutely, no smoking allowed in the staging lanes, starting line areas. Section 118885 of the California Health and Safety Code prohibit smoking of tobacco in public places where a gathering is in progress. LEAVING FACILITY: Please be courteous of our neighbors by driving respectfully on Excelsior and Jackson Roads. SUGGESTIONS: Blankets, umbrellas, jacket, cash for food and souvenirs. You will be able to use credit machine at the front gate and souvenir booth. The food concession does not have a credit card machine. A company has provided an ATM machine to the racetrack but it does not always have a sufficient amount of cash for events.
